The Hourly Research and the Term (“Research” and “Hourly Research”) are defined as Services for Purchase on the Site, Hibernian Genealogy Research www.hiberniangenealogy.com, www.hiberniangenealogy.ie.

The Term “Emailed Receipt” or “Receipt” are defined as completion of payment process via the online payments system Stripe, and the capturing of funds from Customer to HGR. There this process has completed an email generated receipt is sent to the customer. This also serves as a confirmation.

The Term “Research” is defined as the process of undertaking to trace and locate records and resources relating to an individual or family, who may be deceased or living, not exclusive to the geographical location of Ireland (32 counties).

The Term “Contact” is defined as the communication of Research, where the outcome or results of the Research is emailed to the Customer by Hibernian Genealogy Research.

The Customer and the Term (“Customer”) are defined as the user who browses the Site (www.hiberniangenealogy.com, www.hiberniangenealogy.ie) and selects a Product that is a service that is purchased. The Customer receives Contact from Hibernian Genealogy Research.

Alwyn Lloyd trading as Hibernian Genealogy Research is a resident in the Republic of Ireland. The offices of Alwyn Lloyd trading as Hibernian Genealogy Research are 34 Willow Grove, Carrick Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth, Ireland.

Hibernian Genealogy Research WILL UNDERTAKE A SEARCH BUT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LACK OF RESULTS IN SAID SEARCH; PRICES CHARGED REFLECT TIME AND RESOURCES USED TO TRACE AND LOCATION RELAVENT INFORMATION. Hibernian Genealogy Research IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WRONG OR INCORRECT INFORMATION RECEIVED FROM THE CUSTOMER. Hibernian Genealogy Research DOES NOT PROVIDE A POSTAL ADDRESS OR WISH TO RECEIVE ANY CORRESPONDENCE VIA COURRIER OR POSTAL SERVICE. Hibernian Genealogy Research WILL ONLY EMAIL THE CUSTOMER ABOUT THE RESEARCH OR HOURLY RESERACH PURCHASED AND IS NOT RESPONDSIBLE FOR THE DELAY OF EMAIL ON RECEIVERS/CUSTOMERS SIDE.

Products, Warranties, and Delivery

  1. The Customer acknowledges that all Services (Hourly Research and Family Tree Research Package) purchased under these Terms of Use are intended for personal non-commercial use by the Customer and will not be resold to any Third Party.
  2. From time to time, Hibernian Genealogy Research restricts the quantity of Hourly Search which can be purchased in one time or during a particular period or per person or per address.
  3. Hibernian Genealogy Research will not be liable to the Customer for loss to you or any third party suffers for a delay or failure to process your Research due to inaccurate or incomplete details provided in a Contact form.
  4. The Customer provides consent to provide Hibernian Genealogy Research with information, to trace and this information is of upmost correct and true.
  5. If the Customer places consecutive or separate orders, we cannot guarantee to consolidate your Research.
  6. All Research and corresponding invoices must be paid l before research is undertaken.
  7. Hibernian Genealogy Research reserves the right to accept or reject the Customers Research for any reason at any time. If Hibernian Genealogy Research rejects the Research, the Customer will receive a refund of any money paid. If no research has been completed.
  8. If the Customer has paid the 50% deposit and research has begun but the customer wants to stop or cease the research. The 50% deposit will be kept as payment for time undertaken in research that had commenced on behalf on the customer.
  9. Hibernian Genealogy Research may take up to 30 Days to communicate the outcome of the Research undertaken for the Customer.
  10. Hibernian Genealogy Research makes no representation whatsoever and gives no guarantee that the results or outcome of the Research may produce a record or document relating to that said search.
  11. Delivery of Hibernian Genealogy Research Products is sent to the Customer via email in the format of PDF document.

Price and Payment

  1. Hibernian Genealogy Research Prices are quoted in Euros.
  2. Once the order for research is received from the Customer, they will receive a 50% Deposit Invoice emailed, which contains link to “Pay this invoice”. The facility to complete the card transaction appears.
  3. Final Payments to Hibernian Genealogy Research are required before the Research Report is provided.
  4. Hibernian Genealogy Research reserves the right to accept or reject the Customers Research for any reason at any time. If Hibernian Genealogy Research rejects the Research, the Customer will receive a refund of any money paid. If no research has been completed.
  5. If the Customer has paid the 50% Deposit and research has begun but the customer wants to stop or cease the research. The 50% Deposit will be kept as payment for time undertaken in research that had commenced on behalf on the customer.
  6. All Hibernian Genealogy Research transactions are done by Debt or Credit Card.
  7. A stripe payment invoice is emailed to you with a link that states "Pay this Invoice" and a credit/debit credit transaction box appears with the outstanding amount for both transactions.
  8. To maximise security Hibernian Genealogy Research do not hold any Debt or Credit Card details. They are held by a third-party payment provider Stripe.
  9. Your Credit Card company may also do security checks to confirm that the order was authorised by the card holder.
  10. Your Statutory rights are unaffected by these Terms and Conditions of Use.

GDPR 2018

  • Hibernian Genealogy Research will not rent or sell your personal identifiable information to any individual or company. Personal Information is kept private at all times, and is not made public at any time.
  • Non-Personal Ancestors information that is provided for the purposes of research and tracing, and will be used in the confines of locating a deceased individual who partially matches the information provided.
  • When Purchasing, by Ticking Terms & Conditions, the customer is Agreeing to Hibernian Genealogy Research Terms & Conditions, you are Consenting to the information provided to be used by Hibernian Genealogy Research.
  • All Personal information is stored in a locked filing cabinet, and all electronic files are password protection.
  • When you enter sensitive information via our website, on purchasing a search, we encrypt that information using secure Socket Layer Technology (SSL). No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic is 100%, however. We use an outside help platform, and a credit card processing company to bill you if you purchase services on our website. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any purposes.
  • All Personal information provided is stored for Accounting and Administration purposes and will be kept for 7 years. Unless a Customer wishes their information to be deleted at any time.
  • We do not retain personal emails for the purposes of marketing or advertising.
